The Astronomical Clock mechanism itself has three main components: the astronomical dial, “The Walk of the Apostles” and a calendar dial with medallions representing the months. The clock is one of the top things to see in Prague Old Town and shows the ‘walk of the Apostles’, which can be seen first at 9:00 am and every hour until 11:00p.
The other touristy stuff: Charles Bridge, Jewish Quarter, Prague Castle should be seen early in the morning (7-9am) or you'll be shoulder-to-shoulder with tourists in selfie-stick hell. Final word; avoid taxis like the plague (use Uber or even better, Czech equivalent Liftago) or grab a 72 hour travel ticket from a metro station that'll get you Take a Funicular to Petřín Hill. Located next to Prague Castle, Petřín Hill is one of the most popular places in Prague to see the city from above. A leisurely hike will get you there from the bottom of Malá Strana, but the quickest way to get to the top is by funicular. tccu9E.
